The 2019 Whitegold Festival takes place in St Austell town centre on September 21. The Festival celebrates all-things clay, and in particular cultures of clay and those who use it in their creative work.
We’re looking for high quality craftspeople and craft sellers who would like a free stall at this year’s Festival. We’re looking in particular for artists whose work has a connection to clay, to kaolin, or to clay country – interpreting this in the broadest sense possible whilst retaining a genuine link to the culture of clay and Cornwall’s clay country. We are also looking for people who would be interested in giving a demonstration of their craft-making during the day’s events.
If you would like to be considered for a stall please apply online here. We are curating the craft fair so to be able to prioritise high quality ceramics and a range of work. We will get back to you in the first week of August to let you know if you have been allocated a stand.
You will need to provide evidence of public liability insurance, and if you have your own table and/or gazebo this would be very helpful. Please note that none of the pitches have power, but that it is possible to accommodate your own generator if you are able to bring one.
Deadline for applications: Midnight on 31st July OR until all stalls are taken.
Festival Day is Saturday September 21. Load-in will be before 08.30, load out after 16.30.
