Artyology White Clay Pyramid Making Workshop 10:00am – 1:00pm Fore Street, St Austell
Come along and make your own hand built white ceramic model of the amazing China Clay White Pyramids.  Local artist makers Suzy Johnson and Lynn Simms will be on hand to show you how to create in clay. Everyone is welcome.
Later on in the afternoon the pyramids will be installed along the St Austell Clay trail to help celebrate the clay heritage of our town. 
Artyology Clay Story Walk 1:00pm – 2:30pm Market House and out along the Clay Trail
We can now announce the Master Storyteller; Gary Cordingley will tell stories of the people who worked in the clay industries and offer a glimpse into the world of china clay, from sky tips to wild moorlands destroyed. We will also be accompanied by wonderful local folk musicians along the Clay Story Walk.
Come along to the Artyology White Pyramid tent at 1pm and you will be lead on a Clay Story Walk, through to the Market House and then off onto the Wild Clay Trail that starts in the middle of our town. You can join in at any point on route.

Artyology White Clay Pyramid Art Installation 2:30pm onwards on the Wheal Martyn to St Austell Clay Trail

An environmental art installation constructed by the Artyology Team and the public who have made the work will be sited in the disused clay dryers on the Clay Trail. Everyone is welcome to come and help carry the white sculpture pyramids made in the the morning workshop and install them on site.
